What it's all about

We witnessed a special moment at our Educators Appreciation event last week. One of our guests was helping a young boy, who looked about 6 years old, learn to bowl.
The boy held the ball, and swung it back and forth a few times before releasing it. Straight backward.
The adult quickly stopped the ball and brought it back. He handed it back as he offered a few instructions, and the boy swung it a few times before releasing again. Straight backward.
The adult ran to catch the ball again. He brought it back, gave a few pointers as he handed it back to the boy.
No one was in a rush. There was no teasing or harsh correction. Just a genuine desire to help the boy succeed.
The boy took the ball and swung it back and forth a few times before releasing it. STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE.
We smiled as we recognized that this is a boy growing up in an environment where it's ok to make mistakes and learn. What a testament to the wonderful educators in our community.
We're so glad we got to celebrate with you last week. ❤️
